More John Hardy

I saw these pieces on the Nieman Marcus website and I think that they are sooo beautiful. Nieman's was one of the first stores to pick up the John Hardy line, so they always have some pretty nice pieces online. These are from their Batu Lava Kawung collection and the contrast of yellow gold and silver with the shades of reds and oranges in the stones are just gorgeous. I don't think I'd wear these pieces together as a set, but individually they are pretty bold.

Double Time

Philip Stein is a relatively new watch company that I've been dying to try. Among Oprah's "Favorite Things" a few times, they supposedly are pretty amazing. They have developed Teslar technology, which works with the batteries in the watch to produce an electric current that resembles our own body's electromagnetic energy. This technology is meant to help us fight the negative electric energy that surrounds us every day that we don't even realize is there. Many users claim that their stress reduces and they sleep better as well. To achieve the full effect- they recommend wearing the watch 24-7, except when swimming or in the shower to prolong the life of the strap.
Even if you're not into the electro-technology mumbo jumbo, it's still a pretty cool looking watch. I dig the 2 dials, it would come in handy to keep track of the time of a loved one in a different part of the country or even in a different part of the world. Also, you can change the straps to match your outfit daily is you wish. They have an array of different materials and colors for their bands and they are super easy to change on your own.
Find a retailer near you and see if you can feel the difference. If not, at least you'll have a neat looking watch.

I love the watch both with and without diamonds. They can dress up or dress down so easily, especially with how easy it is to change the strap.

They also come in the round shape like the examples above. I think I personally like the top watches better, but if you're bit more traditional, you might like these. Check out their website to see all of the strap and size combinations. Enjoy!
